Calculator inputs

Measurements entered into the website calculator are processed in your browser. CalcurHome does not require an account. When you use Project Mode without signing in, named projects, estimates, inputs, results, notes, checklists, shopping items and saved comparisons remain in this browser. You can delete them in Project Mode or by clearing this site's browser storage. Copying a result uses your browser clipboard only when you press the copy button.

If you choose “Share estimate,” the measurements are placed after the # in the shared URL. That fragment is visible to the recipient but is not sent to CalcurHome or included in the page request. Developers who intentionally use the public calculation API send the supplied inputs to the Cloudflare Worker for that calculation; API request bodies are not added to product analytics. Downloaded workspace summaries are assembled by your browser from locally saved estimates.

Optional accounts and private project sync

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google provides CalcurHome with an account identifier and may provide your name, email address, email-verification status and profile image. The stable Google account identifier—not your email address—is used to keep account ownership separate. CalcurHome stores the minimum account profile, hashed session credentials and the project workspace you choose to sync in its Cloudflare-hosted database.

The sign-in session uses a Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite cookie. Private project requests are authorized on the server and scoped to the authenticated account; the browser is never trusted to choose another user's identifier. When you first open Project Mode after signing in, existing device-local projects can be imported into that account. You can download an account export, sign out, or permanently delete the account and its synced data from the account page. Signing out, session expiry, account deletion or switching accounts clears that account's cached project workspace from this browser. Anonymous browser-only projects that are not marked as account-owned are not deleted.

Technical and analytics data

The hosting and security providers used by CalcurHome may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp, performance information and security signals. Privacy-respecting aggregate analytics may be used to understand calculator usage, errors and site performance.

Product events can record the calculator page and an action such as using, copying, sharing, printing or saving an estimate. Measurements, prices entered and calculated results are not included in these events. CalcurHome also respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for optional aggregate interaction analytics.

Searches, requests and feedback

An unsuccessful calculator search may be recorded so CalcurHome can identify missing tools. A calculator request is recorded only when you submit the request form. These fields are limited in length and are designed for project topics, not personal information. Email addresses, phone numbers and web addresses are automatically redacted from aggregate product events.

Cookies and advertising

Public calculators do not require advertising or personalization cookies. Account holders receive the essential session and short-lived sign-in security cookies described above. If advertising, consent tools or additional analytics are introduced, this policy and the applicable consent controls will be updated before those systems are enabled.

Messages and retention

When you email CalcurHome, the message, sender address and any information you voluntarily include may be retained for support, correction tracking and legal purposes. Do not include sensitive personal information in a calculator request.

Account profile and synced project data remain until you delete the account. Sign-in sessions expire after at most 30 days, and expired session records are removed by a scheduled cleanup. Aggregate product events are retained by Cloudflare Analytics Engine for three months. Private weekly analytics reports and encrypted database backup artifacts are retained for 30 days. Operational request logs follow the shorter retention period provided by the active Cloudflare plan.
